About
Overview
Our Mission:
The mission of the 201st Infantry / Field Artillery Association is to perpetuate the memory of those who have gone before us through our memorial located at the corner of Willowdale Road and Chestnut Ridge Road (just off of the 201st Memorial Way) in Morgantown, WV. We also maintain a Regimental Room and displays in the Fairmont facility. We are committed to assisting the battalion and subordinate units in all activities as appropriate.
Who We Are:
From before the birth of our nation, to today’s global War on Terrorism and long after, we have and will answer the call to defend our country and serve the state of West Virginia during natural disasters and civil unrest.
What We Do:
The purpose of the 201st Infantry / Field Artillery Association is to preserve the history, maintain a memorial and promote camaraderie of present and former members of the 201st Infantry (WWII) and Field Artillery (since 1946). Membership includes all branches of the Armed Forces.
How We Help:
While we do not have “membership perks”, it is a way of giving back through our memorial activities and our continued relationship to the 1st Battalion, 201st Field Artillery and the 1201 Forward Support Company. Membership in the Association shows your continued pride in your current or former unit, and your service to your country. It is a way of finding and reconnecting with old friends, and enjoying their company during our biennial reunions. Membership is open to all who served honorably in the Armed Forces of the United States. One year membership is $10.00, and life memberships are $100.
